Research
For Unit 2, I was able to find three very good sources. All were found using Lexis Nexis. The two that I am bringing to class are from the Washington Times newspaper and the Economist magazine. Both compare and contrast Obama and McCain on their policy towards Cuba. The Washington Times article appears to be on McCain's side and the Economist on Obama's side. This allows for great comparisons to elaborate on in my paper.

After reading other peoples' blogs, it seems that you and many other people had success using Lexis Nexis, and unfortunately, this was not the case for me. The two articles you described sound like very good ones to write your paper with, especially since they address the different viewpoints of the candidates. The only thing you just need to be careful of is that they are actually primary sources because a lot of the articles I found in Lexis Nexis were not. They were people writing opinions about other peoples' opinions. Also your topic sounds very interesting. I have not heard much about the candidates viewpoints on Cuba, and have no idea of the reasons or issues surrounding those viewpoints. Well good luck in finding any additional sources and with writing your paper!
